Carey was almost 5'10 tall when she became a high-end model. Her popularity was with American designer Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren was extremely high. Her father is a renowned scientist who was named Scientist of the Year in 1979 by the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey was educated across the globe due to the work of her father. After she graduated from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, she began to do modeling as a side. The idea caught the attention of a Ford Model Agency New York. She also enjoys climbing mountains as well as whitewater rafting.
