The actress can be seen as Tyler Perry in the smash hit, Why Did I Get Married. Alongside Perry along with Janet Jackson as well as indie film Frozen Peas, and Born Guilty. Her other film credits are The 636, for which she received the Best Actress at the 2014. NYLA International Film Festival, Shattered!, Never Die Alone along with Janet Jackson and Perry, as well as American Adobo. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Keesha began her journey as a stage actress after completing her studies at the Cum Laude Conservatory with a B.F.A. She performed in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and was in eight different roles on the theatrical comedy Eat the Runt.
