Agnes Bruckner
Agnes Bruckner, born August 16, 1986 in American state of California, is an actress. Bruckner was raised in Hollywood, California, to the Hungarian father and a Russian mother who have since divorced; her paternal grandfather was German. Her parents first met in Hungary and emigrated to the U.S. in 1984 through a refugee camp in Italy. She has two siblings and a brother. The career of Bruckner began in the age of 11. The actress appeared in commercials in several shows on television and the daytime soap show The Bold and the Beautiful in 1999. Bruckner appeared as a teen in the film Blue Car (2002). In the film, she portrays a teenage girl engaged to David Strathairn as her high-school teacher. Roger Ebert, a film critic, said about how Bruckner was "completely dedicated to the task of negotiating this tough script." Bruckner has been nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for "Best Female Lead" as she played the character.
